Did you know (I didn't) that Shelby Lynne--coming to the Narrows very soon--played Johnny Cash's mother in the fab movie Walk the Line?

Shelby also is a grammy award winner (for either "Love Shelby" or "I Am Shelby Lynne") her latest release, in january of her Dusty Springfield covers "Just A Little Lovin"" is beyond perfection. If you ever saw her jam to "Polk Salad Annie", you'd freak. She is an amazing voicalist, composer, lyricist, and musician. Her timing is off the hook! SHE is what music is about. I saw the show and it was amazing! Any idea if she'll be coming back to the Narrows in 2009?
