A Touch of Whimsy in the Night

Leon Redbone once again graced the Narrows stage bringing his whimsy, his guitar and a piano player to perform before a sold out audience Friday night.

Your humble blogger had the good fortune to chat with Mr. Redbone before the show. He provided some valuable photography tips that led to the photo above.

Comedian Smokin' Joe Holden, above, opened the show, getting laughs and setting a light-hearted tone for the evening.

1st time at the Narrows, my wife & I loved the setting, Leon was Leon he was awesome, the man's a legend, smoking Joe gotta alotta laughs....Great show

What a quaint style cafe' atmosphere... Smokin Joe set the tone with laughs, Leon is truley magical, his distinctive voice - guitar playing, off key at times on purpose - humor. Even after all these years, Leon makes you feel special the way he interacts with the audience. Wasn't it priceless when he whipped out his camera and took pictures of the people...
